My First Week at Founder Inc I Week 6 in SF

I just finished my first week at Founder Inc's Ship It program. Here's what I learned:

1) When you surround yourself with absolute killers, you’ll notice 3 things:

Out of 100, 3-4 people will outperform the rest by a lot, which will raise everyone's standards. These also happen to be the people that reach before everyone else and stay the latest. The ones that don’t skip weekends.

2) I get excited about a lot of ideas but don't know which one to put 100% of my energy in and for how long. So here’s a framework I've been following which is quite helpful:

Define "Winning"
Set "Anti-Goals"
Back of the envelope math - what does it take to get there?
1 Hour, 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month tasks

3) Don’t be a sycophant (afraid to give critical feedback). Some of the greatest companies ask their candidates during the interview process to criticize the company or the interviewer → their goal is to avoid sycophants afraid of giving critical feedback.

Progress I've made:

- Filmed, edited and posted MFM application video (Sam Parr book marked it, waiting for a response from his side) - https://lnkd.in/gXedD6xz

- Teamed up with a technical founder to build something as part of the 4 week program at Founders Inc

- Moved to a hostel 5 mins from the office so I can skip the 5 hours to and from commute everyday
